The debut release from the danish duo Genetic Spin is set for release in the next month or 2.
The title for the album will be "On/Off", and it will be released by the danish label CreamCrop, who also released their highly acclaimed "Lowrider" CDS last autumn.
Genetic Spin is known for their very groovy minimal style, and since their first release back in 2001 they have released tracks on labels like Ayahuasca, CreamCrop, Interzone, Leviathan, Trance Of Scandinavia and Leguan.
In the same period they have played at parties in countries like Sweden, Germany, Schwitzerland, Brazil and of course Denmark.

I hope they can show some variation in their album tracks...all G.S. tracks seem soooo similar, kick/bassline/build-up...this in combination with the music style, tends to be rather boring...let's see if they have to offer some surpises!!

They have released a few tracks in the last couple of months, but mainly been on tour and working on new stuff as far as I know.
For instance one of them started a new project with Cujo from Cujorius One called Handbuch.

I'm looking forward to this album!
Genetic Spin have one of the nicest songs on the new Interzone Vol. 2 compilation, a great CD for minimal fans.
