Hailing from the beautifully surreal mountains of Asheville, T.O.U.C.H. Samadhi uses trance as a means toward attaining a higher consciousness. These parties are dedicated to the primitive nature of the music and a return to the origin of our roots.
Samadhi is the fourth state of consciousness--beyond the conscious states, dreaming and dreamless sleep. Those who have witnessed samadhi as an external phenomenon report samadhi as falling into a kind of trance. The hair on the body stood erect, the half-closed eyes became fixed, and the body became weightless. These are mere symptoms and tell us nothing. There is only one way to find samadhi...you must experience it yourself!

Holy freaking dance-floors trance-man!
The Genesis party in Charlotte last night was spectacular! Thanks to Brad and Erin for making people more aware of psy-trance.
Their intention is to show people the true meaning of what is driving psy trance as we know it. The party was a killah! From Shane's and Christian's amazing deco to sound, both chill and full-on. Psyonics visuals were great eye candy and Unifires black-light performance was very cool!
The dancefloor was packed til the very end! The crowd was a diverse mix of all kinds of social status and race, which was nice to see! You could see that with more of these type of events Charlotte could actually have the makings of a scene. Having Brad and Erin starting their shows off in such a positive light is something that will help the psy scene grow there.
Monkeys set was oh so mushy and right on time to start the night off. Then Sot came on and laid down some mad stompers with no let up. Kt flowed with one of the best sets I have ever heard from her. I finished the night in somewhat of a Kri fashion. In the chill room , Iduna started the night with some awesome world beats and old skool low tempo goa. Followed by Oso who really laid down some very nice cushy psy house beats. Don finished the night with his most excellent track selection as usual.
This party is the start of something for Charlotte that could lead into a way to raise consciousness. To make people more aware of what it is that binds us all together and why we feel that this music is the key to unlocking the doors of perception and letting us realize how special we truly all are.
Thank you to everyone involved in making this happen, it was truly an experience not to have been missed.
