Hello!
I am planning on journeying to Japan (Nihon ni ikimasu!) probably in April or May (or both). I was wondering when the outdoor parties start happening in Japan?
The thought of dancing on Fuji-san is amazing to me.
thanks!

Well maybe you will be in time for the biggest free party in tokyo. It is called HARUKAZE. It is not a psychedelic trance party but it is a all genre party ranging from techno, japanese taiko(drums), digeridoo, house, and psy trance. It is a big show off of Japanese club culture so i think it is a very good party. There will be a few outdoor parties by then if i find anything I will give you some information. Hope you have fun in Japan. |

Thanks for the information! Now all I have to do is figure out how to get my job to let me go for a month or so.
I will avoid Japan in June though (I've had enough rain here), but hooray for April & May!
I've heard that Tokyo gets crazy during the national holiday in early May... I'm trying to figure out if I want to go in the craziness or avoid it.
Also, I only know a tiny amount of Japanese. I've heard it's really hard to find any place without asking people... is that true?
thanks!

hmm that may be true, but some people understand english so i think there wont be much of a problem. Many foriegners are here in japan too, there are a few people in this forum that travel around tokyo by themselves to go shopping.
Well if you have any problems or further questions about japan, send me a Private message or Email me djtk81@hotmail.com |
