I finally got my 1030's, after allmost 3 months of waiting. They smell like fresh carpentry, and they also sound GREAT! Warm, precise, and fat. No metalic buzz, no colorization. Pure pleasure. By the way - if you'r planning to buy a pair, you have to order 4 months in advance, since Genelec announced that they are short in the specific kind of wood they use to build their monitors.
