Anyone know any ecofriendly portable generator alternatives?
i'm building a sound rig that is ultra portable, so i can go pretty far out into the woods and be left alone by authority whilst we all party out.
i'm aware of bike powered systems, but i'm not sure they'd produce enough power.
anyone have any ideas? or generator advice? isn't my strong suit honestly. |

First you need to figure out how much power you need. Not sure if i know any ecofriendly models really. If you need much power i think you want to look at a diesel driven generator. Here in my country (Denmark) you can get 5500 Watt Diesel for around 800-900 Dollars. But thats like a 100 Kilos, so thats maybe not so portable unless you own a van. There is also the Honda models. Small and very portable, also pretty noiseless - but they cost VERY much.

I wouldnt recommend putting vege-oil into your dieselgenerator, unless the vendor specified that its possible 8)
