Trance and Nature are a perfect combination, but, people here in Brasil are forgetting to take care of the parties places, of the dance floor, and are throwing everything in those places, that usually are beatyfull.
Trance is a very hard music and the energy of the place is very important, so, let's concern more about the garbage we are throwing up all over those beatyfull places; small things as the plastic of the cigarret, the ring of the water bottle, those thigs will stay there forever.

i do remember that someone from the forum wrote about a party organizers who give a small refund of the money in order to have the people who came to the party clean after themselves (i think it was Zombi)

Logically, party organizer are have to take care of the place. People payed money to enjoy and not to clean up. Of course that doesn't mean that everyone, in personal, need to litter and throw garbage around him. Here is Israel, most of best party places are in private property, so party organizer have to show the owner the place before they are leaving.

It is rather frustrating here in Israel, that people has no respect for the nature. Everyone is littering without even recognising he does that.
One of the best examples are the caves of "Beit Guvrin".
Some party organizers should be ashamed, but it's their karma that they open with mother nature... |

well i dunno bout any of u, but paying for the pty & cleaning up are two diff. things.
the organizers are not fucking babysitters, most ravers are adult persons which are able to understand themselves that if they don't use the bags/garbage places that pty organizers set up, and throw around anything like freakin pigs, they have to clean, i wish i saw more ppl cleaning in parties, but one thing i know for sure...i'll never stop, no matter how dirty it is, or how louzy the pty is... it's also a way of showing ur recognition to the place & to the pty organizers.

most of the ravers are definitely not adult and not responsible people, I see lotsa kids recently in parties . and by the word kids , I mean 15 yrs old..
I dont think they care too much about the garbage, but same goes to the "old" ones , its very individual . some care, some don't . but the most important thing is that the organizers do .

When I said about the garbage, is because my city (Belo Horizonte) is just on the begining of raves events (2-3yrs), but, we have a lot of beautyfull places to do those parties. The last big one, Earthdance, that happened all over the world, was in a magic place; the dance floor and camping just beside a huge waterfall. So, in a huge nature place like that, not a private location, is the people of the party that must take care of their garbage. Of course the organizers must take care also, but, if each one took care of their own garbage, there won't be a lot for the organizers to do. One more concern is about the energy of the dance floor, with a lot of trash throwed and the heavy sound, energy is just turning bad, a lot of people doesn't care, especially does kids Ananda mentioned. People that are conected to the good energy of the raves must steak together and teach the new comers what trance is really all about. |

Ok guys, I’m returning this thread cause yesterday I saw something really disgusting!
When we started driving away from Peter Digital’s party (or Rafi’s party to be more accurate) yesterday, we saw the place where Udi and Ronen did their party a few weeks ago. And there we saw tons of plastic bottles and beers that the organizers DIDN’T CLEAN UP!
As far as I know there were no parties in that location after Udi and Ronen. I don’t want to start making accusations, but this is really disgusting.
U make a party, clean up after! Don’t leave it in the nature like this.

I can add to the general opinion that from my own experience the more underground the party-the more aware the people get to the scenery.
In our parties, even if there were 2000 ppl the place stays clean after the party(to the cigarette buds) ,its not nature's fault that we want to party there, and rarely do we get negative responds when we spread the garbage bags to people.
When we do a party in an orgenised place, usually the landlord takes care of the garbage, cause he knows whats best for him.
All in all I think the environmental awareness exists in Israel but need reassurance.
