Often struggle with this problem that there is a gap between kick and bass when i program them in the sequencer. Is there a way to solve this problem. Doesn´t seem enough just to change thetiming of the notes. Could making a longer
kick be a solution for this?
Thankful for any advice. |

it seems that you trust your eyes more than your ears.
if it sounds good - it sounds good, if it sounds bad, fiddle with it till it sounds good.
no expert of psy bass here but yes, you can make the kick longer. on the other hand it might be just a perception of the gap because kick and bass are not working together because of wrong volume, frequency or smth

yes, if you have a short kick, make a longer one.
other options are: keep the transient of this one (if it pleases you); and add another layer to fill out the gap and provide more low energy to it before the bass takes off.
