Regret to agree with every word Guy said...
The old spirit was gone after that, and the connection between trance and drugs was inevitable after the trick Asher puled.
He of course was never to organize any event in Israel (thou he tried), and the stories about him are sad.
As for the "shimonim" i guess that sooner or later they would have found us, but it was a real “enzymic action” to speed things up.
And as for us, a small tribe, we have gain the battle and lost the war..
So, you probably won’t see me in this event, nor my friends, but if you’ll search deep in the woods, and at top of mountains, you’ll see us reviving the old vibe ;)

The trick was naming this event "Drugless" and by doing that getting the support of "Al-sam” which is a non-profit org. Fighting drugs.
The police was called to secure the place, and to make all the security arrangements, (how little they know...)
If you'll get to put your hand on a copy of "karahana" you'll see that Dr. A. Hoffman was more likely to support the event then "Al-sam”.
Asher got his 15min of glory, but since then he lost more than he had, after a witch-hunt of the Israeli police and in a way we all got secured from that.

But youre saying that AL-SAM actually bought it - i mean that it would be a "drugless" trance festival?!
Guess everybody was naive back then...
Anyway - anybody know where i can get a copy of this "karahana"
movie ?
I promise a speacial screening for all the members of the forum that are young or new to the scene and missed this event...
anyone?
