Ketuh Records KTHCD001

"Gandalf", like on the picture of the front cover, communicates the
magic of trance mapping out new musical shapes for the dancefloor
consumption, navigating through pumping spaced out psytrance and a
variety of grooves, beats and some breaks along the way.

Pure psychedelic music for all the cosmic crowds where the brain's
frequencies are more important than the fashion sense.

a great selection of nine exclusive dance-floor friendly
tracks from all corners of the psychedelic world.

1. Walhalla - Shamanik Troopers
2. Mukunga Umbura - Ancestors
3. Komp Set – One
4. Parasense - Seven Zero
5. Neuromotor - Big city
6. Earthling - The Beat Crusher
7. Silicon Sound - Topple Over
8. Dark Nebula - Nursery Cryme
9. Noise”R” Us - Tahasmahal Pohemtehbehem

well a year old already and as ketuh recs is about to release its new compilation now is surely an ideal time to review the old one. The general feel of the album is fairly full on, but not over the top, a sound that i am more than happy to jig around to on occasion.. and on such occasions i would be happy to dance around to this
The album kicks off with the tribal but slightly twisted walhalla tune, which i rather like. The next tune is not really my cup of tea somehow, i don't know what it is, maybe some of the noises, but it doe not do so much for me. Then the kompset tune which is competent before we start to kick properly with parasense.. nicely . Then its fred neuromotors turn. I'm not a big neuromotorhead ( ) but big city is a pretty good number nonetheless. The next three are my favourites from the album, with silicon sound and dark nebula particularly strong.. what a great name for a track "nursery cryme" and thankfully also a damn fine track. silicon sound.. what can i say? great sample.. great sound
the last tune reminds me a little of bizzare experimental electronica and is qute entertaining.. though obviously things have chilled out by this stage. On the whole a pretty good release now lets see what the next installment is like           >>love will tear us apart...<<
