you have a lot cool stuff here.
but you need to fix your mix, i mean sound eat each other put eq, comparison, limiter,
watch on youtube tut how to mixing track.
when track mixing right, it easy to mastering it ,and track will sound more professional.

have nice day

Thanks for your feedback smoker!

So today after i woke up i listened to the track i mixed on my "headphones" last night...and it sounded like total garbage, LOL... so much ha ha!

SO i went to my local music store here and next week i buy some better equipment, like extra soundcard(85€), better headphones (139€) and a pair of somewhat better active boxes(178€).

However i mixed around a bit today and the "mix" i have now, it would be nice if someone could point out if it is still a "bad" mix... i think it improved a lot.

Listen to it now for a while and will later work again on it.

Though besides all this i am going to check out what smoker suggested... links are always welcome, ofc!

cheers

1. what software are you using ?
(to point you to tut mixing and mastering)

2. i don't think it's good idea to mix track with headphone. you need headphone to listen only low part's

3. better to buy good monitors then headphone
it's a true fact with headphone you can't make good music.

if you from EROP you can buy nice monitors ADAM A3X really cheep and same time really good           -------------------------------------------------

1 Cubase

2 Yeah but at night i have to use headphone, and sadly i work mostly at nights :/

3 I was listening to different monitors and i thought to buy these http://www.nevadamusic.co.uk/studio/monitors/mackie-mr5-mk-ii

There was another pair in the demo room but for 550, i would prefer Though i just checked Adam website and it says my music store has Adam A3x, i will check them out! I hope they are not that expensive. Ok i checked and it is 219 each ... 438€ lol

Dman, i have to watch them all now! Thanks man for pointing me to these, kudos to you! With all the stuff and when doing things alone you get sometimes lost in the music, great to have such excellent feedback!

Alright, i changed a lot including the messy bassline, and complete overhaul of most sounds.

The mastering though is just a quick Ozone setup on top of the composition. Though i have a bit of problems with the closed HH maybe and not sure of the Kick/Bass is really great...

Would be nice to get some feedback on the overall sound and what else you think might be lacking, thanks!

Nice kick and bassline! (Very hypnotic during more intensive parts) Digging also the floating pad sound.. I think the snare is taking too much space so maybe eq cut to some area of that? After twoish minutes the track starts to get more intensive which I like! The gated synth is also covering other sounds so maybe some eq cut to there also. I like the track changing during time so there's no fear of boredom Overall I like this very much! Thanks for sharing           http://destinationeuphoria.bandcamp.com/
