ouch....a party that ends at 2AM! have you guys considered looking at locations in Camden, New Jersey or other suburbs of Philadelphia to see if you guys can have a party that goes later?

well, the gaian mind monthly is a long-running institution (over 3 years now, i think). the party's been at Ulana's for some time now, it is really a great space and conveniently located right in the heart of the city.
things are just a bit sleepier here than they are in new york, all venues serving alcohol have to close at 2:00am even on the weekends.
despite the early closing time, the parties always have a great vibe and lots of people smiling and dancing.
gaian mind did do an all night party in philly a while back. i'm not sure what the deal was, but it might be too large a space for the monthly.
anyways, if you're in the area, don't miss this one. dave and i have some sick shit in store for all you philly heads. MUAHAHAHAHA... |

there were some people on tribe.net asking why the monthly was on a friday again.
from what i heard, Ulana's recently added a new "goth night" weekly on saturday nights, so of course we've been bumped back down to fridays.
but i assure everyone that the party is going down TONIGHT!

i had a great time! it's always a blast coming down and playing in my hometown. philly pride!
the format worked out nicely, dave and i got to play a lot of different styles that we probably could not have squeezed into a regular two hour timeslot.
thanks to dave, keith, deet, heidi, meghan, scotty, lorenda, chad and everyone else for a kickass party! and of course allen and sharon for paving the way 
see you all out in the pine barrens in just two weeks!!!

Thanks to Dave~Bot and the Next Gen for running July/August while we take our summer break.
