It's the inaugural event for FYB!
~ Follow Your Bliss ~ ;-)
Let's get together in the park and have a good time. We'll have a great assortment of psychedelic music and lots of dancing. There will be a potluck and we'd love for you to bring something for the table.
The spot is in a beautiful location on a small hill next to a serene little pond. While the pond is not available for swimming, the park does have a pool a short distance from the spot. There's also a nice playground nearby for the kids and the bathrooms are conveniently close. The spot has one long concrete picnic table, similar to those found in Zilker park.

Suggested stuff to bring:
food for the potluck
chairs
sunscreen
coolers
water and juice to stay hydrated
adult beverages (if you're 21 or older - yes, it's permitted at this location)
swim trunks / suits, towels, and a few bucks for entry if you want to go the pool
bikes
hackey sacks, frisbees, etc...
carboard (there's a hill that might be good for sliding)
While this is a free event, monetary donations to offset the cost of park and sound rental will be appreciated. We'll have a donation box set up.
This event is legit. We have a sound permit and a reservation for the spot. Please don't bring any nonsense that will get us shut down. Though we're in a city park, please follow leave no trace policies; make sure your trash ends up in the trashcan.

Talked with Deyol this morning. He's >90% sure and I'm >100% sure. Headed down that highway from MP through DFW and into Austin. See you next Saturday.
