Ok let's sey this way I have one PC but I am in LAN with 3 more PC's. Would be nice to put some plugs on those PC's.

nolightatend:

let's say it this way PCI LAN card/SWITCH is 100 mbit/s your internet connection culd be max 700kbit or 1 mbit.
Ther is still to come 99Mbit/s or you maybe have
T1-T3 ( sarcasam )
and alwayse you can buy 1Gbit/s card it's about 20 EUR... so why not try it.

For those you sed "Although i've found out that i have sort of conflict between my onboard netcard and my sound card" never use somthing that is integrated because it is SHIT!!! and shit loading your MB and CPU.
And what MB do you have?
I use EPOX MB and ther is no problems...

In my case I created 2 networks. 1 for internet, the other for gigabit. I disabled file and printer sharing in windows for the internet network and set up a rule in my firewall to isolate security risks.

nolightabend your problem with your network card looks like a irq assignment problems. Have a search for it on this forum and you probably find a solution (like move the lan card physically to another pci slot)

pm me if you can't get rid of the crackling.

A friend who used fx teleprort with an AV8 dx Mobo and AMD 64 4400 x2 told me that he had too much cpu load and that it did't worth it.

With other systems i don't know but i'll try it out too, although my main music pc is similar.

oh come on I like to be euphoric when I discover something nice.

It's working, that's all I say. Or I'd never opened a thread like this.

Concerning fx teleport. You have to streamline your system. Like disconnect the lan card for internet, shut down firewalls and other running processes (very important in my case). I'm not a newbie in computers, in music production I am.

So after all it's depending on a certain user knowledge and proper configured daw's - that's true. I actually had the same experience when I made the first test with fx and slower networks.

I smell a troll

lan cards problems with soundcards? lmao you know there are 1000 different combinations of hardware...

newbie in music production ? 10 years enough?... fasttracker 2, jeskola buzz, energy xt, cubase/nuendo, Kurzweil Synths, Nordlead

please dude, WTF ?!?

Working only in special cases. In mine and several other success posts its working... strange things are happening huh? I even described how I do get good performance with it (CHAINER, Tweaks, Gigabit/Firewire)

Is it always like this? Someone collects information instead of asking questions one could answer himself reading manuals/tutorials and there are people like you nolightatend, ranting over a whole page it doesn't work and so on... but on the same lines you confess not getting your lan card to work properly... no comment

and sorry bro, I really didn't want to answer anything to your l33t remark and just pretend you didn't write that... but appearantly what I start to think reading your pessimistic answers and stuff is yes, I'm l33t... thank you. So please fuck off and don't bother me again with your basic stuff right? I can't believe I offered you sorting stuff out via pm.

For me this topic is closed. Thanks Colin for the wormhole tip... definately gotta try the demo too. You never know when you're missing out something.

Nolightatend... sort your lan stuff out, buy your big spec computer. Really it doesn't matter to me. But if you got a personal problem like calling others l33t and stuff, that's what PM is for. You're ruining a thread with your stupid idiot posts

Read my first entry again. It says at the end something like HAVE FUN MAKING MUSIC... maybe with fx teleport, maybe without. Start to do that instead of crapping the thread. thanks again.
