simple quick way to get the sound ur lookin for
One Square or saw wave and den
add lots of Res +
mess with the Cutoff to wat suits u best and
den add some distortion
= Acid
Try out different levels of saw, square and sub-square. Distortion or overdrive is good too. Really, just experiment.
also note it will sound more authetic if you're using a synth that provides a lot of resonance, aswell as saturation in the feedback path, plus a good portion of distortion after the filter output.

and dont forget to adjust the volume output! low vol at high cut and full vol at low cuts makes the sound bounce more.
you can also use vst effects to form the sound.
might want to use some delay and glitch on the finished result.
blip effect is basicly made by the pitch shift working together with LFO and volume... to keep it simple. |
