Hi, I've got a nord lead 2, and I want to buy a fx processor to add to it, in order to add fx to it.
The TC Electronics M300 is selling for quite a good price... (Dual Engine Reverb + Multi FX)
http://www.dv247.com/invt/8690
Does anyone here owns one or anyone can give me some feedback about it?
Is it worth it?
These are the features:
Reverbs Introduction
TC Classic Hall
Concert Hall
Vocal Room - Vocal Studio - Vocal Hall
Drum Box - Drum Room
Large Cathedral
Living Room
Club
Plate I and II
Spring
Live
Ambience
Multi FX Introduction
Dynamic Delay
Tape Delay
Studio Delay
Delay
PingPong Delay
Slapback Delay
Phaser and Vintage Phaser
Chorus and Flanger
Flanger 1 and Flanger 2
Compressor
De-Esser
Sounds a bit too much things for a £150 piece of hardware... (the things Im more interested from it are the reverbs, delays, phaser and flanger...)
Let me know what u think...
Thanks

Does it help the sound to proccess the output through a Hardware effect unit before recordning into a sequencer?
I have a NL2 but never tried it.. just used Vst FX |

yeah, i use vst fx too, but i'd prefer to record the processed sound already, and at least for me its much more fun to control the fx from hardware...

TC eletronic has some great stuff, never saw this m300, If I were u I would go to a sound shop if their is one near to u and take this m300 in for a test drive lolol
If you can't do that search the web man, look for reviews but if I had a NL and had money to buy some effects I sure would

TC is very good choice and their processors are indeed top notch, but as for the "controlling ease issue", well it's multi FX processor which means it won't be as easy as you think, you'll have to press a lot of buttons to get the effect you want. You can have the same controlling on VST with some external MIDI controller.
But it doesn't matter, because it is a great piece of equipment.

Here are some budget/mid rage compressors that will compress your basslines better than any plug-in I've heard/used on the market.
Joemeek SC 2.2
Joemeek VC1Qcs
TLAudio 50501/5021 and Indigo
DBX 576/566XL
Focusrite Compounder with the bass expander, inductor based circuit.
