im listening to FSOL "Life Forms", one of my favs., but right now, i must say SFX-"Unreleases 89-94" is my fav. cd at the moment. well, i was wondering, who else here likes FSOL?

new remixes of 'paupua new guinea 2001' just came out on jumpin' & pumpin'records (vinyl 12")...

side a: satoshi tomiie main-path
side b: satoshi tomiie flip-path
plate #2
side a: hybrid mix
side b: oil funk dub and 12" original mix
the satoshi tomiie remixes are EXCELLENT deep-trance renditions of this classic, and the hybrid remix is a mid-tempo breakbeat track with a ton of psychedelic effects, an incredibly well-done production all around.

yea, Dead cities good.
sorry bout putting this in the trance section, my bad.
i have most of FSOL stuff, most of Alec Empire stuff, thinking of getting Two Lone Swordsmen albums, got Soulo, got Life Is (comp.), got some Jean Michel Jarre stuff too.., i want more like that stuff, anyone wanna give out a few names, comps, etc?

Just look in the ambient and chillout section, you'll find that 80% of the threads there are about good ambient albums. |

LIFEFORMS indeed a landmark in the ambient/what you want to call it style ; )
me have a flashback to 92? when i saw a clip of "lifeforms" with the chineeze girly
say ! does anyone have a maxi cd from FSOL with a singling lady ..
cinda > cocteau-twins , style , .... ?
me doing candle search for it for years now .....
