Future selling technics?

Why dont artist sell all there track via "PayPal" likes for 1$ US/each over there website in 320kbps Mp3 format?
Or even had the possibilities to sell a Burned CD with original track for 10$ + shipping...
I'd rather buy thoses and give my money directly to the artist. Would be easier buying the only track I like.
Instead of tryign to fight the new medium, why not using it? Didn't they start selling Tape record back then?
You could also have a official release like nowadays for people without internet and access to fast download(there are not many with these ability you know). And people still buy there music on Vynil, so people would still buy there music on CD(i would still buy many release on vynil and CD but i would like to buy 1 track more then often!)
That's just a crazy idea of mine that have more sense to me then most people would've, i guess...

Its not crazy idea at all!
I believe in it too. Mp3 is great idea to sell music over the globe.
I would like to give my money directly to the artists instead to labels that don't pay their artists well enough to make their living. Respect for the artist!

the only reason that i but a cd is cause of its quality and the great feeling u get holding an original in your hand with the cover and all the inlay.
wont get them with mp3 over net.

I would pay for 320kbps mp3 and i would still buy Hardcopy.
Start arguing about DJing CD or Vynil with a Techno or House DJ... he'll start telling you the same thing about CD that you're saying about Mp3...
Too much pride i guess...

i will collect 1 cent from 100 people and buy one track for $1 then 
mp3 is going to spoil the music anyway hehe.
instead there should encrypted lossless track format with a registration code distributed to every user. |
