WIRED magazine was publishing kind of book was that writen by crew of scientist's from different fields that gave thir view of what we can expect technologies will reach in the next millenim.
i also remeber somthing about teleportation there.

and by the way, there is kind of chance that in the near future we will need to go party with GPS...
there is sor of waves that we could listen to only if we stand in very certain point (the dance floor) so you can hear nothing out of this area, you could even play two stages without any interfear...

About the direct speakers. It ain't sci fi anymore, it's about to be released to the market by the end of this year. The implementations are enormous. Just think of multiple listening areas within one club or dancefloor. You don't like minimal? Move 10ft to the right and experience some full-on mayhem. And i don't even mention the studio implementations. Your neighbour will start to love you again.

future of muzik technology..
mayb peeple will be too bugged up with synthetic electronic soundz..
acoustic clear instrumental music shall stay forever..the sitar, tabla, flute, drums, guitar..
the sonority of an instrument and the talent of the player isnt possible on any hardware/software..(every1 can get the notes very few can play it exactly like the original)
are they inventing any machines that zip info in peoples mind or extreme stimulation of learning abilities..which u specially require as a music student..
