Not that funny maybe , i think, the thing is : when i'm loading a song i'm working on it gives a message:

"cannot create record file" and below another one:
"Record cannot be enabled , because the record file could not be opened"
does anybody knows what the f***k is happening?

yes this might help , also try to see whats wrong woth the hard drive cause it is not normal to run faster from usb than from the hard drive. maybe your hard drive is almost full and that´s why it crashes. also make sure to set the virtual memory (control pannel/advanced system settings/advanced/performance/virtual memory, i´m using windows vista now so i don´t know if the menu sequence in xp is the same but similar for sure)... set the virtual memory to a different hard drive or partition than the one you are using for your audio operating system. this prevents a lot of crashes

boomz my friend, hope this helps
see you
