FUND RAISE PARTY-CHARITY EVENT [?]

i was thinking-why dont u try and organise a fund raising party ,eg for the tsunami victims, in association with a charity organisation like unicef or sth..
I mean think about it: by doing that we will make trance music more widely known and more acceptable (as far as Greece is conserned)
-thus parties will start "growning back". .
what do u think?

Nice thought my friend.....
But unfortunately Business and Charity don't match together....
So unless your promoters will not change atittude, I don' think that a charity party would be effectively possible...

Can the promoters at least think the ups and downs of such an event carefully?i mean why the hell not?
We can even take the media on our side with this one!!!
a spark is all it needs ..arent any left out there . . . ?

Dear Psy_mystic,
I don't know how the current situation is in Greece, but I have the feeling that the Media in general (around the globe) don't like to promote something that is not enough commercial .
The reason ?
The Media industry lives from Pubblicities. If the event they have to promote is not aimed to a wider range of audience , this means more consumers,then they don't promote it...(do you get my point?)
I wish you the best , and I hope to be able to visit your nice country combining it with a summer festival ....

A benefit party will always be a good thing in my opinion, but please. No more Tsunami bnefits. Even the Aid Organisations say that they have more than enough money and that they need people to donate in other areas of the world... Like Dafur! |

Hey people there are also people and especially children that don't have a place to stay or something to wear or eat also in our country GREECE....Why don't we do something about them???? |

Yeah perhaps we should do sth about ppl in need near us.there dont have to be any big names ,I believe that our energy could simply prevail.If there are any ppl with power out there and want to think of themselves as psychedelic then
they should at least try and we should all give a hand and make it happen.
