Oh man.... thanks for sharing this...I really had a great time watching it...so authentic inner happiness. That s the basics of making music. Music is art. And art is a kind of self-expression, and the first person to be touched should be the artist itself.
The real artist is the one who s only concerned about expressing himself, no matter if someone or any crowd will ever agree and enjoy it. Once this artist gets crowd approval than he might reach success.
The difference between the authentic artist and the fake ones lies exactly on this success seeking. For the authentic ones, success will be only a consequence, once people will feel the same feelings expressed through his music.
The fake s ones are only committed to commercial success, and aren’t expressing nothing, aren’t transmitting no emotion. Those fake ones will depend on mass vehicles (radios, etc) and a lot of money to make the crowd swallow their poor ideas....
So once more congratulations for your effort to show us those magic moments...cause believe that s the basic energy behind psychedelic trance scene...and believe me, those moments are each time more rare compared to commercial efforts to only make money through music.... and generally where’s only greed and ambition, nothing grows around nice and truly…

good to read something like this here!
Unfortunately too many rejections of originality have made too many artists go the secure, conform way...
furthermore to add here, many listeners prefer the easy way too. Many listeners are not interested in real art, because it means confrontation with emotions, it means getting insight into others, maybe scary ones whatever.. it's easier to stay on the surface.

I love that, you are welcome, I enjoy to see such stuff as well.
From the beginning where I started making´music, that truth factor was the most important thing for me. I love authentic music. People asked me to create commercial music but I sent them away, I started with really weired Breakbeat stuff, and now I´m grown up to be able to create wonderfull, blissfull, adoreable music to attract myself and others. At the moment I am learning how to make Dance Rythms which are pretty technical?! I really need to concentrate not to throw in to much Groove to keep the flow straight on.
I am happy that you feel my happiness.

So true. I would go further and say not 'many people' but the overwhelming majority... are incredibly narrow in their appreciation of art and often way too concerned with what other people think of their taste, thus letting their fears and predjudice mould that very taste to a large degree. A group behaviour rooted in the survival instinct but really doing nothing good these days when survival isn't much of a concern... sadly acts more as an inhibitor of appreciation of true art.
For a long time I frowned upon artists that were 'selling out' but that has faded, because I've realised that things will always be around if there's a market for them, and of course there will be people who are more interested in money and fame than producing something masterful.
These days I'm more annoyed with listeners that *want* the formulaic crap and scream for more, usually only because they are too lazy, afraid or shaped by social factors not to open their minds a little bit.
They're missing so much but its hard to tell someone that without seeming demeaning, thus triggering an opposite reaction, making them even more distant to that which does not conform.... so many people go through life without really living at all...
Sorry for the rant.. I meant to say the vid made me happy and the kind of moment you have there is the stuff I think many of us live for |

This reminded me on a quote from a movie "Waking Life". It's a bit long but I think it portrays this problem quite well. Here it goes:
When you come to think of it, almost all human behavior and activity is not essentially any different from animal behavior. The most advanced technologies and craftsmanship bring us, at best, up to the super-chimpanzee level.
Actually, the gap between, say, Plato or Nietzsche and the average human is greater than the gap between that chimpanzee and the average human.
The realm of the real spirit, the true artist, the saint, the philosopher, is rarely achieved.
Why so few?
Why is world history and evolution not stories of progress but rather this endless and futile addition of zeroes?
No greater values have developed.
Hell, the Greeks 3000 years ago were just as advanced as we are. So what are these barriers that keep people from reaching anywhere near their real potential?
The answer to that can be found in another question, and that's this:
Which is the most universal human characteristic - fear or laziness?

This is very true also. They walk and drive their cars thinking that to move is to be alive. But movement is just an animation. To be alive is to master the art of all arts... the art of being. This quote will express the point better than I could do it:
The birth of a man is the birth of his sorrow. The longer he lives, the more stupid he becomes, because his anxiety to avoid unavoidable death becomes more and more
acute. What bitterness! He lives for what is always out of reach! His thirst for survival in the future makes him incapable of living in the present.
