Oh NY bring Mubali back one more time, his set at Boom was awsome! |

His live on Friday night at Orb right after Pat Karmakanik was a treat. My favorite set of the whole festy.
And I think I recall some strange incident at a club in Manhattan where Mubali played after Polyphonia and the bouncers turned the lights on just as Eg-bot vs Mescalinium began to play.

Holy hell, I would lOvE to see Atriohm but sometime in the summer. I have a feeling that the music might sound better outdoors, sweeping across a dense forest or an open field. |

You speak the truth, Luna! Oh man, just the thought of Atriohm at GMSF2009...
Stirs up a certain feeling inside. Wow. That would be great...

| yes yesss, the people have called and hopefully the orgs listen(ed?)...onkel dunkel back in ny-
honestly- even though alladin put him in a weird timeslot 10-12pm! last time he was here at orb last year- it rocked my brain. BEST set I've heard. amazing producer!
also if someone brings him- why not have him play for awhile- not just an hour- maybe like 3 hours or longer at least? =)

Hey, I remember that set!
Very poor timetable that night, thats for sure!
I think Onnomon played a live right after that set?
And Zik played a little while later. And maybe Earworm spun? My mind is a bit hazy from that evening. Can anyone confirm this Orb07 Fri night line-up in the indoor area?
I think MOnnO DJ'ed that night for like 90min.
ANd Naked Tourist tried to play on Thursday night but the breaker kept tripping in that covered stage.
Anyone remember that?

I was gonna do a Parvati release party for Atriohm's new album, until I found out that they can't come to the US due to Macedonian visa issues. basically, they can't prove they are going to leave the US cause they dont have jobs, and they dont go to school. bummer. im trying to bring Furious out, but now he's apparently having visa issues. Gidra also has visa issues. Just forget about KDD for now. But I hear that Psykovsky might have a visa soon. Onkel is cool, but he's been to Cali a few times in recent years. We'll definitely throw down when Mubz gets back though:)
ugghhh the US laws are tough for the psy scene!

I meant why not get Bodhi or the Monks or fucking OOZE out to NY?
It has to be a shitload cheaper, and lets be honest, pretty much all the same kids show up whether it's a local or international headliner. At least here in the city.
Are numbers really that much higher for international acts? |

orb 07 on sat was mono/dunkel and then earworm then onnomon then zik
also to the comment above- i think some acts bring more people for sure- there are a lot of trancers who skip out on parties depending who is playing and then u have the people who dont miss any party and who dont care who is playing. Ideally you would want to bring both. Also they r bringing people from the west here a lot. I dont think its about international- its more about bringing people who make good music- regardless of where they come from. Also those acts u listed have played in NY recently no? Maybe last year? I may be wrong, but i thought seeing those names on a flyers |

The increase in people you'd get for having a big name won't make up the difference in cost (unless something is radically different in your area compared to everywhere else ). There's a ton of great talent in the states (even north and south of the border) I also think the east coast would love a dose of Primordial Ooze.

onkel donkel, g.o.w., atriohm ?Full power?
When I think full power, i think of the styles of fractal glider, dynamic, or morning power suomi-funk
or the styles of dj's such as clandestine from the midwestburners, paradigm, et all
I would put Onkel Donkel and much more certainly the Grapes of Wrath make some pretty dark/edgey shit....double down that statement for Para Halu

the grapes of wrath played live at an outdoor at the Gemini location for Catalyx's party in 2006, it was 2 weeks after Gemini actually. It was a hell of a party and we had a lot of fun hanging with the grapes, jumpin off the bridge, and generally just talking shit and having a good time.

That was was one of the best weekends ever. EVER.
On another note, I like what the gentleman above me said. Spot on, Fatty! Gidra, GOW, Furious - more like full power blender (y'know, the liquefy setting) |
