I still listen to this album all the time. I think these guys would have become huge if Shinnosuke Masuo hadn't died. Its really tragic we only got one album from them.Make sure to track down "Everything Never Can't Stop Us, Dude" from a comp if you like Phinalizer, that song is even more nuts than the stuff on Phinalizer.
Shuji from Phi still makes music as Slum, which is good but not as great as Phi.

Slum certainly fits the subject title if you want brand new stuff..full on, no cheese...no stupid random dark noises over a lame bassline...the tracks are songs based around different melodic parts but never a hint of the same formula based full on bullshit. |
