Yesterday i went to my recordshop and searched for some various cd´s that i have read about here in tha blue place... Came up with NADA! Every single cd i wanted was either Coming or sold out. So i took this FULL ON Vol 5 in my hands and asked the guy behind the desk if i could listen to it, I listened a few minu´tes and said, I´LL TAKE IT! ITS ONE HELL OF A CD!
Tracks:
Nr.1: SandMan-End Of the World (Green House Effect Remix)
OOOhhh i like it, the beginning gives me the Hallucinogen - Snarling Black Mabel remix feeling with some pitch shifting "highstuff" percussion and from there it just gets better with a nice tempo, nice basslines, pads & A realy nice melody. This is one of few songs that puts a smile on ya face... WAY TO GO SANDMAN!!! KEEP IT UP!
Nr.2:Maskalin-Loud&Proud
This one has an nice opening with some basses and a drum which gives u that feeling: COME ON COME ON COME ON! And then it breaks loose YEEEEHAAAAA! Nice Tempo, Nice Percussion, AND A REALY COOL MELODY! WHAWANGOIIIONG or something like that:)...
And the end of this track offers a realy nice groovy bassline and a little more tempo on everything! :D
Nr.3: Infected Mushroom-Red Filter
I have never realy been an Infected Mushroom fan but they had their good moments. Unfortunaly this moment is not one of them, but sometimes this song makes u float with the nice percussion and nice tempo but i get this feeling that something is missing, and the melody just SUCKS! AND WHY THE FUCK DO THE HAVE TO RUIN EVERYTHING WITH A REALY BAD ORGAN PART!!!!!!! SUCKY SUCKY SUCKY! OHHH NOOOhoohoohuh....... Besides all of this shit, the melody in the end has a nice vibe in it!
Nr.4: B.L.T & Future Prophecy-Rat In My Kitchen (B.L.T Remix)
Nice groovy start and some "gms" inspired sounds BUT a quite lame beat, And the beat keeps on being lame, the melody isnt nice at all. Somehow i cant realy describe this song at all.... Dont like it or maybe i just cant understand it...:(
Nr.5:PsySex - On A Mission
OHHHH this song has a lot of energy hidden inside this frequently stomping kick with a quite simple but entertaining bassline and the drumsample is just brilliant.... OHHH THE MELODY IS JUST MAGNIFICENT!! Ohh I LIKE IT! :D :D :D
Nr.6:Gorlation Corporation-You Are It
A quite "light" kick with a dark bassline in the beginning becomes a light kick with a disted melody and some quite unusual fx´s and shit, HELL YA I LIKE IT! I LIKE IT ALOT!!!!!!!!
Nr.7:Cosma-Floppy
OHHH YEAHHHH!!!! Also here an quite simple bassline but OHHH so entertaining. Good "friendly" melody mixed with stomping kicks and a quite strange sample of some telephone lady speaking in german :) , fx´s coming to ya like a bomb... OHHHH YEAH! I LIKE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!! The melody reminds me of an old but modernized goa melody! Not to "chezzy" like u people say ;).... The ending of this song is something special, gives me the chill! LOVE IT!
Nr.8:Illumination-Crystals
I Think i´ve heard this one before on some Destination goa compilation, and dunno if i liked it or not, but now i feel some of the magic coming out of this dong ding boing melody... But here tha beats need a makeup, maybe a groovy bassline and a harder kick... Its ok thou....
Nr.9:Power Source-Goaway2000
This is my favourite along with psysex´s and Sandmans, i can not write about this song, u gotta feel it! But i can say! A JOB WELL DONE ON THE SEQUEL!!!!!!!!
Recomendation:So for all u people who got tired of the dark, minimalistic powerstuff! Try this out, it gives that feeling that the melodic trance isnt dead its just modernized! And re-birthed into an new world and we should re-welcome it with open ears! |

What a creative review u made my friend ;)
Anyway, we kinda got the same taste and the compilation is indeed one hell of a cd which gave us some of the most popular dance floor hits of the last year.
Any words about the next Full On? Eyal?

yea, i already noticed that BLT or becomes your favourite artist or stay aside.
I do like all the tracks...But BLT really makes me each time i listen to this hard groovy fast but downtempo track;)
Good review you have, my friend and especially i am very happy that it's not the end and there would be more Full On's in nearest future;)
