for the last 2 days i've been trying to make a good bassline with TBL VST. and im doing it in this way:

Kick, Than 3 short Basses
Like that:

1=kick
2=bass

1 1 1 1
222 222 222 222
In the chord E2

it's sounds very organized and good. but still it's very simple, i want the bass to be more dynamic.

Any suggestions?

I don't know if TBL supports it, but you can try playing with the velocity.
And if you want it like a melody - add one note up 2 notes down, etc

Well, this seems just silly to me. You program a bassline with only one note, and complain it doesnt sound like a melody? Of course it doesnt it only has one note! If you want a melody ... use a few more notes.

And for goodness sake, dont come back here and ask us which ones           http://www.dartrecordings.co.uk/

Kick,bass on F, bass on F, bass on higher C
kick,bass on F, Bass on F, Bass on higher B

and now play that for all over the track over and over and over.

if you don't know what a note is maybe you shouldn't create music?           "The dinosaurs became extinct because they didn't have a space program."
