1.How many effects do you use on your tracks?
2. I try to make a for myself a rule like effect every 4bars or effect every 2 bars. what do you say (2 or 4 bars)?

i will save u all the time these other people spent u.

here is what u do. Download:

VEC SAMPLE PACK 1 2 or 3.
then after u download, open it to the "SYNTHS" Folder and those are Fullon FX. just put those together in kinda a loop.

I know this because alot of pros use it and so do I.

Enjoy (:

I Think its good if everybody share, our time spent on giving advice is also good...

i know what u mean, im just saying. that when i make my topics, there are always some people giving wrong advice. and making me loose aLOT of time.

im not saying who said here is wrong but i know for a fact that what i said is true, because i can make a good loop in actually 10 seconds. u dont even have to be good at it. just mash stuff together and u will get a killa Fullon FX           Myspace.com/DJiNexus

Hey dj chichke, I know that you are talking about effects and not basic psytrance structure, which I comprehends that is composed by kick, bass line and percussion (open/closed hi hat, snare, toms… so on) and there are a specific metric for do it so, completely different when using effects and for that, there is no rules.

When I really like one music, what I do is separate (by writing, listening, whatever…) all effects and loops from the basic structure. It helps me a lot. Of course there always are some crazy minds around which make weird things and hard to understand. Electrypnose is one of them.

be good

i did talk about but psychedelic effects and not about kick, drums. etc...
anyway i wrote this thing like 2 weaks ago i think. now i understand that is no rule for my question becasue it's very depends at the part of the track and the length of the effect to know for know many bars to put an effect

I see thet you have DJ in your nick so I guess thet you are a dj and thet you are new into production. You must understand that DJing and audio pruduction are two diferent things and thet audio production isnt so symetric like djing not all parts of song goes to each 8 or 16 bar etc.

IMHO good dj can not be a good producer and verse many of you will disagree with this but its like that.

All the best           Never let computers to win a game! :)

I don't know if i agree or not upon this statement... but i'd like you to elaborate on that... why do you think that? And well when i'm producing i try to make everything DJ friendly, you want your tracks to be mixed right?

Although i fully understand djing and producing are separete things i do believe they have much in common, like understanding mixing techniques it can be helpful for both sides... i started proudcing before djing and i believe im better at the sequencers but i also love to dj, i have found that i do have parallel improvements at both activites... while djing i have this 3d image in my head of how the track has been made and it gives me ideas for the sequencer... also when at my daw i remember what i do when djing and how i can design my tracks to be suitable for djing pruposes... i want to be a pro at both things but surely if had to drop one it would be djing since i will always prefer to create something totally new.
