Why the hell is this even an issu??
The LA scene needs some refreshening to do!!!
We finally get a new location, and most u guys missed i think one of the best if not the best last week at "magic castle" at santa barbara, and now we get to party on a lake an amazing place!!
We usully pay 25-35$ for one killer DJ and we are getting here at least 3 which i know that are gonna make me unable to walk for a week, Eskimo, Space Cat and Talamasca, for just just just just just 40-50$?!?!?!?!?!?!?
CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHY WE ARE EVEN TALKING ABOUT IT?!?!?!?!?
I know its gonna be a great week, first saterday, psytribe party (don't get me started about how amazing that party is gonna be)and then a this awsome party, I KNOW I'M GONNA HAVE FUN! |

Complaining about parties in the past is silly, but complaining about parties in the future is downright funny! We all benefit every time a trance DJ drops the proverbial needle somewhere in the LA area, whether we're there or not.
Phantasm has put together a world class lineup and the price is fair for 3 headliners like that. It looks like the beginning of August is going to rock. |

Its more than fair...especially because the majority of people complaining of this forum go to the event anyway. Cant wait to see Talamasca...been a fan for years and Spacecat is going to send the dance floor into a frenzy.

My only problem is the venues takes place at a lake that is a reservoir and it’s illegal to swim in a reservoir that supplies water to homes and farm land. I am stoked about the party, however I don’t what to see 400 people pack up all their stuff and take off half way threw the morning because a state trooper says so. “It’s not safe for that to occur” let lone it may draw unwanted attention to the community. On the other hand I will hope for the best and will attend the show. Most likely Ill not have my head screwed off due to the circumstances but regardless I will have a blast like usual. Because kick ass head liners will rule the floor and consume our minds out the door. |

This sounds like a nice event, but the real question is WHY only 12-13 hours of music? well probably because its an event in a commercial place and our tribe won't be alone there (possible problems?). also yes the line is great but 40-50$ is steep, especially if you take into account that some people (like me) will not be coming from LA but farther away, so gas money comes into play, and of course lets not forget food, drinks, etc.

Wow ... that looks like a really nice location - thanks for the link rich. Man some of you L.A. trancers seem a little spoilt - I mean in NYC we pay $35 for two and usually one big act in a club. This is $15 more than that for four main acts and the pleasure of being outdoors - i mean that is a really good deal - then why the drama? I guess we trancers will find anything to whine about and then do so. Must be something to do with the whole "Fight the System" attitude we all have. Respect to Phantasm records - this should be a really good party - ive always loved your parties here in NYC.

Line up is great 4 sure, even if Medecine Drum without Irina Mikhailova sounds a little plain to me

what time does this start at?? im gonna be in LA (for the first time in 15 years) and would LOVE to check out a cali party. is it hard to get there? is there anything else going on this weekend just in case i cant make it all the way out there?? line up and price are both AMAZING! i cant wait!!
