Do you record your own voices/Talking pads into your music to complete your story or find them
'Here and there' in the net and then built a track 'On them'/(And forced to be attached to) ?

Many years ago (At the time when i went to buy me an new soundcard) So was realy important for me to find/use somthing 'Approachable' and comfortable to work with , So i find E.s.i (Where there all is simple ..) They got an 'Magic Box' Call 'Waveterminal 192M'
2 HP , 8 OUT , 6 IN - (When 4 For an outside tools as an electric drum or guitar and those) , And 2 i use for mic .
I have 'Shure' microphone but some time i use the old (And the good) way when i just take my Technics RP-DH1200 ,
Then effects and thats enough .. This is not a big story but a big funnn ..

I use alot of own stuff. Have probably ten thousands own sentances hehe because of other musics from me. Somebody mentioned sheakespear in this thread , I did sample from macbeth on one of my first attempts fun to read this thread. I also record lots of things n need just to put it into tracks. At home I got also shure 58 and some t-bone ..all cardioid. SHure is really an awesome microfon you can use it for everything for drums, for toms ,for overheads for voice for really everything it has a nice charactere.
I like to buy someday in future phantom browner or gemini I love those mics but them are really expensive. I know also good neumann u87 probably mostly used and I'm pretty disappointed with it .. but it is very sensitive. Well but than Id prefere a sennheiser mkh 800 or some mkh befor Id buy that expensive neumann.
Shure is great for sure ,aboslutly ok good untill 15 kHz..so totaly enough.. and not that sensitive is mostly better if the conditions are not perfect.. even than neumann is too detailed a lot..

Recording ourself its a big fun. I always thing bout that but I havent good mic & my soundcards (onboard & alesis) are noise makers.
So last week I record my voice on my Sony MP3 Players dictaphone
