my freind yoko if u feel more professional using a "more" professional program like cubase then u are realy still a child!
i was a user of cubase since the atari version and in 2002 i switced to fruity loops cause it was more musician friendly and not cause it was a childish program!
there are no childish programs for professional users only childish users behind proffesional programs and if u think fl is a childish program not capable of good resoltes is like saying that me and many other artist that used it proffesionaly are lucking of quality in their music!!
i say use ur proffesional cubase and let as children play with our toys u gonna be a proffesional and we gonna make music!!

The problem is, most of the new artists start with Fruitty, and afther few month of work, they realise, thir sound is not that good as the big name artists...
So.. the start thinking, maybe is the software problem, maybe this artists sounds so good because they use f***ing extraterestial soft like Cubase
So.. they change to Cubase and they still, their sound is not so good and they think again: maybe is the mastering problem !!!!!!!!!!!!
And so on........
Well folks, i can tell you one thing: i make electronic music since 1991, i worked with all kinds of hardware and software possible, so i have little experience in this stuff.
All may releases in the last years are made in Fruity, my new album is made in FL 6...i also work as as composer and sound enginner for commercial bands and movies, also, few productions of mine reached in the europeans charts, and so far nobody complained about the sound quallity...
So, let's stop this bullshit with "i am more proffesional than you, because i use Cubase"
It's all about, talent, experience and skills !!!
If you have those, you can make music with anything.
BOOM !!!

no its not true its all bullshit
the reason why to answer to old questions is that there are more new users that might have the same problems.
and with all respect mr cartel , i know alot of artists using fruity loops for making music , and realese on the same places with cubase artists , and no one can tell the diffrence , so please dont say bullshit , specialy on stuff u have no idea about

Ever stood still by the idea that except for (nerdy) forageeks no one the f*** cares WHAT you use? The result is what counts and that is the final criterion. |

die fruity loops bitch die 
i was experimenting with fruity till 3 yrs ago and then i switched to reason and cubase! quited reason and now experimenting only with sx 3 and i can say that the sound is much better than when i was into fruity but i guess it has to do not with which is the best but with my evolution towards the sound manipulation(knowledge and experience;) )
