it's pretty neat.

example:
you have this chain on mixer track ->
1.Chorus
2.Phaser
3.EQ
4.Comp
5.Delay

now if you place fruity send before your delay, your sent signal won't have a delay on it ->
1.Chorus
2.Phaser
3.EQ
4.Comp
5.Fruity Send ->
6.Delay

OR if place fruity send before your EQ, you sent signal won't have neither EQ, Comp and Delay on it.
1.Chorus
2.Phaser
3.Fruity Send ->
4.EQ
5.Comp
6.Delay

you have to set to which send you wish f.send sends your signal.
you may place more than 1 f.sends, sending eg. to send1 and send2 before your delays of fx.           extreme

True, although I usually do it faster by simply automating the plugin (pod on the right side) and pushing it to exactly where I want it in the playlist. Result is the same.

The send function is also good to use when you have a very cpu hungry plugin and you only want 1 instance of that plugin to save cpu and then rout whatever signal and whatever track to that.

i like to use the normal mixertracks as send channels. so you have more then 4 sendchannels. you can route every mixerchannel to a other one(or more tracks). here is a little example for a multiband distortion :
route your bass to

track 1

route track1 to track2,track3,track4

track2
1. eq (lp cut all highs and mids)
2. distortion

track3
1. eq (lp cut all highs, hp cut all low freq's)
2. distortion

track4
1. eq (hp cut all low freq's and mids)
2. distortion

use the faders of track2,3,4 to adjust the amount of distortion if the low,mid and high range.

( use the button 18 to route the tracks)

^ how can you only route wet volume to another track with this method.

i troubles me so bad.....
if you decrease the mixer fader on the orginal channel it aslo goes down in routed channel.
at least with the fruity send i have wet/dry knob

i know what it does. i can put it in the middle of the chain and route the signal to the send channel only with the fx processed before the fruity send.

my example was wrong but i only wanted to show how routing is working in fruity.
but its also possible to expand the number of sendchannel s with normal mixer tracks.

1.Chorus
2.Phaser
3.EQ
4.Comp
5.Fruity Send -> Sendchannel 1 :Reverb
6.Delay

to rebuild this you need 4 mixertracks:

track 1
1.Chorus
2.Phaser
3.EQ
4.Comp
route to track 2 and track 3

track 2
6.Delay

track 3 (fader = sendlevel)
route to track 4

track 4
Reverb
