I have a very huge problem with Fruity Loops...
What it does is that when i work on a track and save the project and quit fruity... and then later when i want to continue the project...
..when i open the project it tells me of some vst's that "Fruity Wrapper not found" and then i have lost several things n settings in my track So basically im too scared even to quit fruity because of this..
I really don't know what i should do...
I have tried installing fruity loops again and the vst's aswell (not all but..)
Maybe I should install another version of fruity loops or format my harddrive? |

which version?
the fruity wrapper does not recognize vst that had deen deleted or had moves to a differnent location
my opinion, get the new versin install it and place (after reinstall them) the vsti in one folder be originize it will make your life much more easier

if it's still bugging you, save your vst and vsti's presets (fruity wrapper enables you to do that in most cases), and than simply reload the VST's.

see in the option-settings-file settings if the extra plugins folder is set to the folder that you have the vstis in because the default is on the fruity vst folder
if this doesnt work defrag your hard drive sounds silly but a friend of me had the same and after defragmentation it works ok.

This can happen when you work with huge number of illegal VST , one of them can harm the wrapper which actualy open VST slot in FL by providing wrong data into it.
Try to install newest version of FL and do yourself favor , do not use huge number of VSTi |

i've had the same prob...but normally after i reinstall the VST's it works fine (after 2-3 tries)....
the problem is usually, each VST tries to install in a different directory...best is to keep a separate audio\vst folder under which u should install all ur VSTs.
Alternate way is to first remove your existing VSTs, FL and then install the VST first, then install FL and point the path of the VST correctly in FL...hope it works...good luck |

thank you so much ppl for giving me such a good replies cheers bom boom!
i really hope things starts working.. gotta try when i come back home from w0rkz.
second thing which has happened 3-6 times that when i've been doing a project and tried to save the project fruity has crashed... and then when i've tried to open the project again, fruity informs something like "error occured" and it won't open the project
so then i have lost a whole track/project and those which i have lost have usually been nice tracks
thanks one more time <3 |
