hey
i know many of you use Fruity Loops
and i used it too and liked it a lot at those times and even released cd made with Fruity, but then came Reason and it amazed me with the following things:
1) easy to create psytrance patterns
2) incredible drum machine
3) a huge variety of sounds, it provides with Subtraktor/Malmstrom
4) really impressive NN-XT sampler
5) all-in-one design
and finally 6) sound quality
what about those of you who are still using Fruity nowadays.. what do you found attractive about this software besides VSTi support? I know its possible to make amazing tunes with fruity.. but isnt Reason more professional thing? I mean, isnt it worth to waste month or two and to get familiar with it?

The more the merrier...
Cubase should be main core, VSTi + Rewire...
Yummy!!!!!!!!

heh.. well, it may sound weird to you but i like Reason's sequencer way more then Cubase's one
although i know a lot of people who think exactly opposite
and well.. VSTi is the only meaningful thing Reason misses

Totally dedicated to FL3. with windows that can freely move around. With reason everything is racked vertically and scrolling up/down gets on my nerves sometimes.
but in saying that the sound quality on reason tops fruity.
but for now I'll stick to exporting loops from reason, rebirth [ old habits die hard{its that damn pcf function that keeps me running back}] and other synths and sequencing in FL3.

oh.. yeah sure, another thing i forgot..
Rebirth connection!!!
Reason definitely makes me smile
i cant believe im able to produce such tracks with only one program on a cheap sound card
but.. one must work his ass out to study this software, its complicated relatively to Fruity

Does any of you know if Reason will EVER support VSTi/fx? or is it one of those ego things with software makers where they're never going to combine their technology with others'?
fuck pride. |

well.. i wish i could have VSTi in Reason
but for some reason i have a feeling it will never become reality..
people.. if Reason will own Vsti support and they will improve a bit its sequencer then like.. what Cubase will be able to offer?
i think there's kind of "silent" agreement between Steinberg & Propellerhead about the things.. each program has its own benefits and targetted for particular users category.. they kinda "share" composing software market
