Ok man - this is how it goes:
MIDI cables are not able to transfer Audio - or they weren't designed for it! They only deliver MIDI transfer bits to the computer in order to control MIDI objects.
So to hear the synth AUDIO you'll need to connect the audio out of your synth to the line in of your sound card - you take a cable plug it in the audio out of yer synth.
that's really not that hard. just don't forget to unmute the line in (if you have it muted).
