Fruity Loops question ( piano roll)

hi,
wht setting do i need to enable in FLstudio 5 or 6 .. so tht the bars in the piano roll will always be placed at exactly the starting of a grid square ( and fill tht square completely..) not like when i click on i a certain square..it fill the amount tht was being filled ear;ier on, and can cover 2 adjacent sqaures partially instead of just one sqaure completly..
(sorry for being so vague)

check the "snap time"
little menu in the tools box near the play-stop ...
there is also in some version a snap time separatly in the piano roll.
but usualy, it's set up on main, which mean the one i said first is as master. |

Ok i just checked myself..under the "snap" option select bar..now when you place your notes in the playlist they'll start exactly at the beginning & be aligned properly..works for me so don't know wts wrong with yours..
