Fruity loops(Pattren vol)

hey everybody i started makeing music with fruity loops and i'm haveing some problems
first thing is how can i change the intire patrens volume together instead of haveing to record each layer alone?
and another thing is when i record and i change the pitch in the VST plug-in i'm useing it doesn't get recored what can i do to change the pitch or something automaticaly in the plugin so when you hear the thing it changes by it self?

thanks for the quick answer, but what i basicly mean is use the VSTi Plugins pitch (pro-53 if anybody knows this kick-ass plugin) beacuse it sounds really cool if i slowly take the pitch up and than in one bam take it back to the middle beacuse it's pitch just sounds awesome(not like the normal pitch)

the automation will affect when you put it. if u write automation in patterns 35-39 its not supposed to effect in patterns 3-7...
try it
