if he wants to learn dem doesent mean he has to do sound engineerin!!
no doubt SAE is the best!!!!
i got a frn studyin at SAE in melbourne!!

do u know bout this magic key on the keyboard after esc......( UNLESS U ON A LAPTOP)
f1 IS HELP ENVOKES HELP FILES FROM THE PROGRAM THAT IS OPEN
or try forums and support doc on the manufacturers website and if u have trouble with fruity loops and cubase forget upgrading to rebirth and reason .... 1 life time is too short to figure it out

Am not biased coz I work there but you could check it out…if you serious about sound.
You could check out the website www.sae.edu or www.saeindia.net

Sure smoke a lot,
Spend an afternoon, even a day, with fruity and cubase. Screw it all up if you have to (Reinstall if the result is worrying). Muck around with EVERYthing. Its how you'll figure it out. It's fun. And when you start getting somewhere, there is an awesome feeling of genius (!!) even if its just that you have figured how to get the bass in two tones!!
Ever taken apart a computer by yourself and put it back together again? No Lego blocks, these, but gives you something to go dizzy with for a while at least!

fruity loops is easy anyways...start with that.....cuebase,if you get the orignal version come with a descent size handbook...but pro help will be needed......check on the net or computer classes....some really good ones might have technical help that can get you started on it..after that its your talent.....its really not like an instrument that you will need a lot of help with....just someone who knows the software....

sae also offers an electronic music production ( emp) course wer they theach u how to use cubase and logic .
otherwise like said above fool around with the software and read the help manual will surely give u answers to ur questions
also the equipment and music production forum here on isratrance is a lot of help

well if know what ur looking for, if you've got somethinng in ur mind then all u need to do is find a way to trancel8 it....
frootyloops is easy but very painfully boring....(nonethe less good to get an idea)
the try moving on to reason, cubase /nuendo /logic or whatever.... they're all pretty similar...
above all be ready to experiment, try everything that u can c... u'll fig it out..
p.s try the website of the soundonsound mag... its pretty informative...

am doing a course from SAE(mumbai) right now..
to get some facts straight.. they're not gonna teach u fruity loops there.. only cubase.. and dont think ur gonna start to learn how to make psy there..
if u wanna learn purely how to make psy or other forms of electronic music.. head to the SAE's abroad.. they have a course in electronic music production.. do that only if u have the budget.. else i recommend buy ur own gear and experiment.. i can give u a list of basics to start off with..
u dont have to go thru an entire sound engg course to learn how to make psy..
search the net.. go thru the forums.. there is a sea of info there.. if u run into problems we're always there have fun..

but i recommend you learn by yourself , and take a look of manuals and some forums like this one
