Well, to start off, FL3 is fast, easy and flexible to work with. you don't need any special skills manipulating it and you can write a basic track in a matter of hours.
it may not have the best sound, but you can get some pretty good results with it.

Somehow Fruity Loops seems very ameteur...
The sounds arent the best.. rather its compressed so much it doesnt give diversity...

The sounds are OK, not the best, but OK.
as to diversity - Diversity lies in the hands of the creator. if someone relies on a program to help him/herself diversify their musical abilities, i belive it to be a sad situation...

Diversity as in make the sound more 3d... Real..
Panning.. Rich... all these terms to make it surround or whatever.. Its best to use Nuendo then with 5.1 Surround... Though most parties dont have Surround.. Its killer@@@!!! |

Those are plugins that you mentioned, again, NOT a creator's tool but more of an assistance to help you enrich your sounds. |

Look, a lot of great music has been made on what you people might call 'primitive' softwares. Shidapu, or namely Erez made great music with the impulse tracker, power of celtic for example. who didnt like this great tune?
now the point is - if you got talent and willing to work hard - u will make good music - thats it. personally i know ppl who have made music using FLP far superior than ppl who have full studios - better sound, better ideas, better music.
I agree Cubase and Logic are the best,but if i told you the tracks out there made on FLP, u wont beleive me ,so i won't- and they're some of your current favourites. |

Jason : If someone doesnt rely on a software or hardware.. then what do they do..? I mean you need Power Tools for results.. And Plugins if not a creators tool.. I dont know what it would be...
All effects add to creativity...depends on how they are used. The interface of Fruity Loops is rather user friendly which makes this program extremly easy and good, but the sounds in it are rather compressed.. Essentially not extremly professional.
Purple Passion : Shidapu.. is impulse trackers...
True.. But If you hear thier album today and check the sound... you will understand it is NOTHING compared to the new Infected sound...
Dont get me wrong.. The compositions are GREAT and can be done very well with impulse ..but My problem with Fruity is the sound is not extremely profresional. Also the tracks that may be released done in Fruity are most likely minimal (correct me if im wrong) which doesnt require such sonic manipulations...and can never get the sounds GMS are creating or shpongle.. or any of those MINDBLOWING sounds...(I wouldnt expect it to..)
Note : This is not a fight just a simple debate on the sound quality of fruity loops./! |

As I said before, some of the best tunes u are jumping with is made on FLP. |
