Fruity Formula Controller

So lately I've been messing around alot with the fruity formula controller, and its giving me a really hard time.
I can do basic LFO's but really struggle to implement all 3 of the knobs.
So any advice out there on the controller or cool ways to program it?

the formula
Sin(SongTime()*Pi/3)+0.5
will give you a value that goes all the way up and all the way down through the course of a bar.
