ok,i need to make a backup of my plugin presets,,
for each pugin that i use,like suppose fm7,
and i save one preset as "darksound", and save it, it goes into the folder selected..
now these files are in .fst format,,
if i have to reisntall fruity, and if i put these .fst files in the same but new folders,,will they work???
i tried to access the folder , and these files aint visible!!!
i need to make a backup of all the presets...cant aford to lose em,
pls guide.thank you.

Yeah, they work also by drag and drop, so u can make any folder to ur preset folder and move them with the mouse to the plugin.            Signature

Indeed , tsabeat and EYB are right on this.
The other thing you can do though is to create your own banks for every vst you use and save your presets there , so that they have nothing to do with fruity and they won't be affected when you uninstall it , let alone you can use those presets by other programs too (e.g. cubase).
