Wow. those people are getting phatter every day... Formula controller, Fruity Chorus, Fat Mode, lots of new things to experience with. Channel layering, grouping, Damn, they rule my world. BTW TO ALL FRUITY HATERS THERE: Check out the already-made tunes and come back here to babble about how good Logic is and why Fruity is not good for moving a dancefloor. hehehehe... Peace. |

Fruity is great - I worked with it for two years... made some good tracks...
but all we (The logic lovers) say is that it has some small imitations we just don't want to live with :) |

Fruity is a great program , really.. now after they released 3.3 and up with the 'Asio' , BUT you can NOT do a final mix , Proper automations and on ... those things that you can do accuratly in Cubase. |

this is so useless, guys :-) Fruity has the great GUI, it has lots of goodies, it is very affordable ( 99$ for full online version!)
but Logic is still better, more powerfull, more compatible with pro hardware, more serious, more supported, more computer power saving, and more stable. about sound quality ... there's many arguments.
i would like fruity guys to have guts and say "we have discovered 2 bugs just before the release, and therefore we postpone the release of the next version" they don't have such guts. they would release the bugged update, and then they would release a patch for fixing these bugs. this is the reason you have every 1/2 year "new" Fruity Loops release, as well as Cubase.

yes, fruity is great in gui. yes, it is a very flexible, easy and friendly program 2 work with. the new ASIO added is yet another goodie. but it comes far from cubase and logic (And most certainly Protools).
like guy once said - give me cubase's sound and options with a fruity interface. i think that once you can create the track in fruity and mix it in cubase, you will than have a very potent tool at hand. till that happens, we have a lot of teeth grinding and face cringing coming up... |
