About two years ago I started listening to Chillout music seriously.

But before that I really honestly didn’t understand this strange composed seemingly slowly structured trance music. I used to simply move on, when I came a cross a chillout tune amongst other trance tunes (at trance albums you frequently see a least one chillout number per album). Why couldn’t it go faster? Why wasn’t their any action? Those were my immediate responses when people asked me about my opinion of chillout!
But then like my progressive enlightenment, suddenly I loved chillout, I could not explain why. To be perfectly honest I don’t even remember what my first love was (what song ) ! It hit me like mosquito at Swedish forest party. I understood it, those sweet melodies and slowly structured beats while enjoying a delightful and easing ice joint, during a warm summer day at beautiful Danish beach, that’s life.
After that I couldn’t get enough of chillout, I wanted to hear it constantly, no trance, and no fast beats, only chillout. But like all things that have beginning, they most definitely have an ending. I got bored of only listening to chillout. For awhile I only listened to trance like the good old times. But then I realized something that may not be a revolution, trance and chillout go perfectly with each other. Now a days it depends on what mood I’m in, when deciding which sort of music I put on. Day after party = chillout , Day before party = trance , morning before school = chillout , after school = Trance.

So many choices so little time, so much music what good waste of a rime.

To all you trance fans who don’t like chillout, try to understand it, in the end you will get your satisfaction.

I can’t get no satisfaction I can’t get no SAATTEESFFACTIOONNN satisfaction satisfaction (the end like the infamous and popular house track, with the computer voice).

A lot people are like that, at least here in Denmark, I general I can tell you its people who like specific tracks and genres. I have friend deeply into progressive, preferably very dark but not to hard. Every once in awhile I try to lure him towards some morning progressive, cool full on or Chillout. And chillout he specifically doesn’t like and I really don’t understand him, a very strange world.           "Love is a way of life"
