please dont pick a fight... the NE US scene is too beautiful for that... try to settle it among yourselves, i am sure there is a good way to tackle everything, right?
and whats this about Indo-Israeli fights? Dont generalise based on countries... hope things will be settled SOON...

I do not know what happened and I do not want to know...i came to the party happy, and left happier and thats what i wish we could concentrate on..instead its just turned into some sort of moral police Judge Judy type of show...if anyone has problems there is PM.
Electro..whatever happened should be settled amongst yourselves please...more and more as i read these posts i realise how quick everyone is to forget the good time they had and how everyone just focuses on this issue..and I did not play a party for this. There will always be issues and negative occurances but we should focus on the positive. And if anyone had a bad time then you have a choice, don't go to the parties but please do so quietly...instead of involving and influencing all of us who are not involved. I've had some horrible experiences at parties due to organisors..but I donot go about posting it...I just don't go to those parties anymore and yet..even though some organisors have put me off, if they seem to bring some artist i absolutely adore I still go...for the music and not for the benefit of the organisors.
People should come to parties for the music and to enjoy and thats all...there should be no sides.

On the real though, it does concern me when I hear about stuff like this, it does concern me what kind of people are throwing the parties. And I dont think that privately is necessarily the only right way to deal with it. I think it is perfectly legitimate to publicly complain about ones grievences, especially if they involve physical violence and occured in public.
If you chose not to do so yourself, that is your decision, but it doesnt put you on any sort of higher moral ground than people who do.

Anyway, most everyone one who reads/posts here knows everyone else, few if any of us can honestly say we aren't somehow involved. |

Seriously if discussion in private is obviously not working for these people whats so wrong about bringing their problems to light on a public forum? Especially when the audience is trancers/organizers who are all somehow involved in the scene?
We are all visitors to this time, this place. We are just passing through. Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love... and then we return home. |

Psycosmo, you did not even attend this party, so are you just here to stir up some dirt?? Rock the boat?? Don't get catty with me...I'm trying to diffuse the crap, if you want to concentrate on the dirt thats fine..just don't disrespect me and what I have to say...I did not pick on you, kindly go about posting your little opinions etc. if thats what gets your day going...i did not quote you, so since this is of utmost importance to you, concentrate on the topic at hand and not what I have to say about it....my post is clearly not for people like you.

I agree. Although I was unable to attend this party, a few days ago I read many reviews of people who had an amazing time...Its reading negative posts like the few posted above that make me second guess why it is that I'm considering moving to New York.... It always comes to the same conclusion...If you don't like the parties, the organizers, the music, whatever, Then simply don't go, don't take part...If you've personally had a bad experience, then remember it and don't let it happen again...If you're an organizer and read comments about your party (good and bad), then listen to what people are saying...If you went to the party and had a good time, then don't change your mind after you read about someone elses negative experience....
The ny trance scene is too small for this bs...

Its fine to bring legitimate complaints to the forum but one can be civilized about it..making stupid, racist comments as on the other thread is awful...just shows how low people will stoop to bad mouth others.
I somehow get a weird feeling that a lot of people were just waiting for any sort of opportunity to show how much they dislike certain people (their guts? or skin color? I would have never have thought of the latter but there are enough undercurrents of that) ..make one mistake and all the saints are ready to point at the sinner - the root of all evil in an otherwise happy, peaceful family. Bravo!!

This is such a sad story… Where to begin?
6362MetaForce decided to throw parties in NYC because we wanted to make FUN PARTIES - where people dance all night until sunrise and forget the world beyond our community. We wanted to include artists that we love, as well as a second room for people who prefer lighter sounds, but who share great vibes with the party…
For the most part, this is what happened on Friday night. People DANCED! They had a great experience. People on the dancefloor know what they felt there.
But throughout this party - from before it, to during it, to after – the people writing their complaints here were extremely disrespectful to us, to the headliners, to everybody who worked so hard to set up this party.
A lot of lies have been written here, and we did not respond because we don’t like to see people bring down the community in this way – and to respond to their lies only brings us down.
But now it’s just disgusting garbage being aired – there is a second thread of completely disgusting comments! Why are you all subjecting the trance community to this stuff?
Here is a brief explanation of the lies that the “israelian” is spreading here:
- These arguments about money are entirely unfounded. Max and Lior never discussed money with us. Last month we paid Max and Uriel out of respect - even when they INSISTED they did not require payment. This month, suddenly everything was different ... and Uriel actually demanded payments from us to keep their mouths shut. It was shocking! At 8 am, Uriel shouted “JUST WAIT til you see what I write on isratrance!” and VOiLA – here it is. He certainly keeps his word.
- Noam spit on our mixer in the morning. It was disgusting, disrespectful – and YES – vish lost his temper completely. No one should disgrace or disrespect equipment in that manner. Vish regrets losing his temper, and has apologized for it to everyone present. But spitting on the tools of our art is just unacceptable – and certainly does not befit the “israelian” who asserts himself as a defender of trance.
We thank these guys for teaching us a valuable lesson. We wanted to include Earworm in our line-up because we actually believe he has talent. We learned that we cannot work with people who fundamentally do not understand the concept of respect.
AS for us: we give FULL RESPECT to the history of ECLIPTIC TRANCE; but your past parties do not give you the right to treat people with dishonesty and disrespect.
We put a lot of love and preparation and effort into our last party...as anyone who worked with us all day (NONE of whom was any of you – Noam, Max, Lior, or Uriel) or danced with us all night will know. You guys ran in and ran out – no help, no interest, just dropped off your players in the afternoon and shouted at us to give you cab fare before you left – while everyone else worked hard to set-up the party.
FOR THE COMMUNITY reading all of this garbage:
We assure you that our crew will put the same enormous effort into the next party that we put into this one. But if you'd rather not come, that is your choice. We hope you'll judge 6362MetaForce for the experience we create for you, and by your own personal experiences with us; but we will never force you to come dance with us. Our party on 11/11/06 is only one option of several that same weekend, and everyone can choose where he or she wishes to add energy and love.
As we've said so many times before: TRANCE is about RESPECT, ritual, love, and family... Without respect, there can be no love: it is fundamental to any positive experience.
We want a happy experience for everyone. Go to the parties where you feel respected and where the vibe is good for you.

I also think it's fine to bring up legitimate grievances on the forum, but really all we need to see is the facts - no need for personal insults and mud-slinging - it doesn't help your cause and, if anything, works against you.
in any case, I am sure time will sort this out - shady promoters rarely last long before they get flushed out.

the bottomliine is the party was great..the ppl were happy ..NEW YORK was blasstin full power ...looks like some countable souls had there fuses offf at the same time n now the connection is back ...and some 1 wrote abt the vibe in goa or india for that matter ..hey u can stay back in new york or go to brazil as u mentioned ..INDIA doesn't NEED PPL LIKE U ..as it is there is a major cleanup drive goin on by the majestical worshippers of the divine...v hv enough pppl from all parts of the globe melting into this magical pot creatin the vibe which till date remains the essence of the scene ..feel sorry for all of u who missed the ruote to cosmic energy

after missing the first party i was really upset to find i was going to miss the second. especialy after reading and hearing all the wonderful responses and feedback on this amazing party. everyone in cleveland thought i was crazy for missing the music here that i missed and i was starting to think they were right. however after reading all this negetivity (which no matter what anyone says is, in my opinion) the exact opposite of what trance is about, i am almost happy that i didnt make it, so i didnt have any part in all this...it realy brings a tear to my eye that i just said that   but UNFORTUNATLY that is the way i feel.
i will not bring myself to say some of the things that i may be thinking because that is not nesecary or PRODUCTIVE (key word). instead i wish to keep it POSITIVE (really key word) and say that i am definatly without a doubt going to be stomping down the dancefloor on 11/11 right next to you rachel, and i would like to see EVERYONE (key word) there with me!!! and to all those still mad and holding grudges,  chill, forgive and forget, just dont forget why you love this wonderful music and everything that comes along with it!!YIPPEEEE!!! (really, really key word)

all il know is
that this was one of the best parties i have ever beeen for in my life
i have been to goa several seasons, festivals in europe, and partied all over the world
but this party was the shit hands down fuck everything else
only party to top this in my life

Trick, I do not feel sorry for you. This was one of the best parties I've ever experienced too..and YES it was in NYC. Sky Blue Goa..it doesn't matter where the party is, what matters is that it was really an amazing one...maybe you haven't been to enough parties yourself...really the rubbish people spew can be so sickening...what is the problem, it was a magikal party, just be happy for the people who enjoyed it.
