Friday or Saturday?

Do you prefer a party that starts on friday and ends saturday or one that starts saturday and ends sunday? Or it doenst matter to you?
I prefer parties that start on friday night because then I have more time to recover before coming back to reality. Often, when a party is on saturday here in Brazil (and it goes until sunday noon) i get home really tired and exhausted. Definately no prepared to face monday on the next day. On the other hand, I notice that most parties are more crowded on saturday...
I'm asking this here because I was argueing with a friend, big organizer here, about this and he keeps saying that a party on friday is worse and less profitable. Well, i disagree... How do you feel about this?

i think that the situation is split into 2 cases, yet the same answer in the end. since this is isratrance, and alot of users are from Israel, monday is an irrelevant day since its the 2nd day of work already in the week. Nevertheless, people still go out more on saturday as a nation, but not neccesarily as psytrance cutlture there. in the israeli psytrance underground, friday is the key day, since you need a whole dedicated day after it (after parties, rest). Yet globally, i think saturday is the better day, since friday people can rest, not go out, or go out and do something calm... and let it all go on saturday.

I didn't know Monday is the second day of work in Israel... now I understand why they have so many parties on Thursdays 
as for the question - in one hand, Fridays are better because you can rest on Saturday and Sunday and get mentally prepared to face reality; but in the other hand, on Fridays most people work and get up early, so they're pretty tired at night and don't feel like going to parties... and on Saturdays they can sleep in and have fun at night

If the party is near my town, friday is just great.
If the party is far, Saturday is better for me...
Thinking again: Saturday is always better, because I can sleep till 5:00pm and go party completely refreshed... Who cares for mondays anyway???

we in israel dont have this problem... in sunday we need to be at work...
so friday night is our only option...
why cant we be like the others?!?!?
whats wrong with sunday free?

Thats right nova, Israel is "The Jewish State" and it is not secular, meaning the state follows the old testament laws... meaning, sabbath (saturday) is the only day of rest according to god, and if you really wanna get into history, its really sacrilige for believing jews to rest on sunday... since SUNday comes from the pagan worshippers of the sun... in romantic languages such as latin or now adays french, spanish, italian, romanian, Lundi (Luna) or monday is the day of worship to the Moon god. I can only speak for myself, im not a religious jew and i care nothing about working or not working on any given day, actually i much prefer a weekend that starts on a wednesday and ends on monday.  but no doubt that plays a major role in israel, since alot of people dont work on fridays anymore so saturday night is perfect.

Some parties in Israel are trying to implement Sunday as a resting day as well. Now you can party all week

IMO, firday or saturday doesn't make a difference, but I can tell that more people like saturday, maybe because they work on a friday (the whole day) and they can't go out that night, so they have the whole of saturday to rest, and then go out at night, even if you work on saturday, you probably will have the afternoon off.
Also in brazil is a normal thing to have school on saturday's and that is another problem of parties taking place on friday, since people have to wake up early to go to school or work on a saturday morning.

definately saturday!! cause i have to open my shop on saturdays noon ... did it a few times but by the time we get back from a party there's just enough time for a quick byte and shower before opening the store ... i prefer lazy chillin sundayz after a party 
...the mind is like a parachute...it doesn't work unless it's open...

Saturday is always the best option for me, especially cause i have classes on Saturday but i absolutely hate seeing Sunday go by so fast since its my only day to rest!!
