Have you guys been at the Spirit before? If so, how is it? I heard it's too commiercialized and there are usually people who just there to get drunk and so on....
I guess my concern is that this incredible party will have a bunch of people who are not familiar with the whole trance scene and I don't want to be disapointed because of it.
I know Tsunami threw a couple of parties there bofore, so can you guys give me some reviews.

the place is very manhattan style ,often with the invaders from NJ ,also heavy chinnese presence(mostly positive).So as u see the crowd is very mixed ,whole vibe depends whos going to show up (NJ invaders or maybe brooklyn trance headz depends) then whos going to play then if the sound eng. got good day (funktion one ,still there ???) this place rocks if not ...............

thanks miEtek....Since I am in Brooklyn and I've been into trance for more than 7 years or so, that puts im into "brooklyn trance headz" category
I just hope that there will be less invaders and more usual, friendly, trance croud  |

I heard that the last party that was held at Spirit was stopped by cops. Is that true? If so, does it occur consistently at this club or something just happened that night? |

I saw Sun project back in 01, they are totally awesome live, defiantely recommend them! i dont know any of there new music though |

i believe it was shut down because of an event that happened that night. in addition i think that its worth going out to these parties at spirit for the talent of the artist and the sound system, although deco is lacking i personally would like to see x dream on that kind of system....hux flux played one of the best sets ive seen in a while a few months ago at spirit.
