True that I am wasting my time, but as you know I have no driving license so there is that much time I can spend in the studio, and rest of the time I am bored

Heh true and the difference is even bigger... But you didn't do your homework, since in Swiss you pay 60% (!!!) TAX, and I wouldn't even start to compare prices of renting a flat in Zurich or Geneva to Israel, or having a lunch in a restaurant....
More over as I said before, ALL European acts, that are brought over to Israel are far more expensive because organizers in Israel have to pay 500% more for flight deals, and ofcourse that such long flights make the artist stay in Israel and on the road longer, so ofcourse they are more expensive to book.
Look, if you think I am so wrong, please you are free to make your own party and then when the money will come from your own pocket, suddenly what I say will make sense.

Bro you totally miss the point.. I must agree that our ppl like money a little bit too much, I guess we have it in our genes
And I have no reason at all protect ANY production, really - I don't believe that at this stage someone brings me or not because I say positive things about them in Isratrance or anywhere else. I really don't even refer to this.
My message here is in general towards those that think that 150 or 180 NIS is too much to take for a big event. And I disagree. You must understand that in a very big event, a lot of effort is put, some of it you cannot measure in fact. Some people work many days and many weeks to make something like this happen, spend hours on the phone with foreign calls, pay advances etc.. You only want to see the "greedy" side.. But don't you think a person that invested a month or two of work in a project like this doesn't deserve to get some profit from his work? And I am NOT talking about minimum wages. Someone puts a lot of money on the stake every time you go to party, and as much as you are not asked to fill his pockets when the party is a loss ( and OMG it's not a good feeling to invest 2 months in making something that after it you have 100,000 NIS less ), in the same breath you are not asked to look in these same pockets when the party looks like a success to you. The truth is, that you will never know.
And I don't like being called Mr. Perfect, it's a bunch of crap sarcasm you know

Very true....
But (and a big But) i can understand the crowed side in the price topic.
we all know that we expect 'havaiat lakoah"
when we spend large sum of money ...
true that ppl should never look in other ppl's pockets but there are so many things that they can demand in return for 150-180 nis.... and above all is "PROPER FACILITIES".
this festival (as much as the org. intentions
are good) was miss produced, miss conculated miss festivaled and totaly miss the point
can't blame the empire for that.... just for their choice of a partner/host

You know what Jigga, just for fun, I will prove you are wrong ok?... I might take a day or two to organize numbers for you to see that eventho 180NIS may sound like a lot of money, but in other places over the world the prices are same or more expensive. I will post in the near future and if I find I am wrong I will correct myself don't worry.
About shaking hands with the police, it's easy and again this is all YOUR PERSONAL CHOICE :
If you want a party in a beautiful garden with a lake or a water source, then you have to make it "legal" - which means "shaking hands with the police" - there is no other way. I am playing gigs and participating in parties in Israel since 97'. All those locations in the desert that once were so amazing and naive, today, at least for me, are so overused and abused, there are almost no spots that can be used for parties in that area, and apart of this part of land being abused so much in the parties, some people actually would love to see some green in their eyes instead of going 2 or 3 hours for two days in pudra in the desert! And yeah, there are amazing underground parties still, in the north too, but this is exactly why you have the choice! No one makes you to buy a 180NIS ticket when you already know what going to happen most probably.. The point I make tho, is regardless to how the party looked like at the moment 180NIS is OK price for 5 or 6 foreign acts in one party!! And what I was saying in my previous post still holds, even with your sarcastic take on "perfect"... There are events that it takes a lot of money to make them ( usually they are commercial but again you decide where you go ) and in these cases the tickets are expensive
OK checked some info... Big lineup outdoor party in Swiss ticket price is around 30 euros = 165NIS. Main difference between Swiss and Israel is that most of the "foreign" acts takes very cheap to fly in ( not more than 100 euros ) while in Israel same acts would cost 400+ euros to fly in. That is just an example I can give more.

so... clearly huda or stranger are not the "sharpest tools in the drawer" ...
i don't mind if it will cost 200NIS as long as the event will justify its price ok?! THATS THE MAIN THING
and not the whinning about how poor you are...
and btw, 30euro entrance in Switzerland isn't expensive compares to the overall level of income/outcome - a bit of economic education might help you in making more money from your lame parties...and i bet ya that you won't find in Switzerland so many ARSIM..nor fake lineups..nor entrance problems...nor....i guess you got the point..or maybe not..
and one last thing - if you work so hard for 2 months to make a party and then after another horrific event you find out that you have lost money - SO YOU SHOULD MOVE ON and do other stuff..because clearly you aren't good at it.. and just making it worst for everyone who came to have fun...

What to do, born like that will die like that, guess I have to live with it.. but as long as you are sharp enough , you should be happy..

So my suggestion is for you to move to Swiss, and stop bitching. Arsim is 70% or more of Israeli population, if you don't comprehend that yet maybe you live on some fantasy island and about the time to wake up and smell the humus.
And if you really want to know, then you will be surprised that in big and commercial events Arsim and money orientated thinking is everywhere simply because no one invests 200,000 euros just for Jigga to come and dance get fucked and have fun. It is business and no one wants to lose money. This is the reality.
The problem with ppl like you, that you live in a la la land, where money doesn't exist but a lot of demands do exist hehe, hope you wont get disappointed some stage of your life to find out that not everything is la la land.

Happily for me I am no party organizer so couldn't care less for your last remark.
But I would wish you to take things a bit easier.. Or maybe try to make some parties on your own from your own money and experience, and show us what it's all about!

well well
about the organizing thing i didn't mean you Stranger...
about the la la land...bla bla land...if i pay ~150-200 shekel i really think i deserve a fun event..so yes i got high hopes compares to your medium rare hopes and that makes the whole diferrence - thats how this country looks like , to just work but not more than enough!.. otherwise you will just be count as a FRAIRER right?
about the 70% ARSIM...bullshit..there are alot but not 70% and the thing is to get the good people and not the arsim...and it has been done before.
about me organizing parties...i didn't write even once that i did it before and want to do it in the future...BUT i do know how things works...
peace
