Well, few months ago I started to use the PAZ Analyzer (on the stereo out) from the Waves Pack so I would be able to analyze whatever I want. Ok, the problem is, when I analyze a single sound, the PAZ Analyzer shows a result different from the cubase peak meter (on the stereo out), for example, the peak meter shows -2db and the 'wave' on the paz analyzer reaches -9db on its peak.

Is there any problem with the PAZ Analyzer? There is a better Analyzer to use?

Thanks!

to take advantage of this topic i'll ask another question, is there any way to extract the samples from a .rfl file? (reason refill), would be great to use dr.rex files on the intakt vsti.

thanks

I don't like Paz for analysis; I find it crude and inaccurate. If you can find SpectraLAB anywhere I'd recommend it.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

penguin audio meter is also excellent, but tricky to set up sometimes.

yes.. there's a refill unpacker on the net somewhere and it works, search on reasonstation.net

and a single rex export to wave is possible with reason...

It's a standalone program, and the most accurate spectrum analyser I've seen. I run it on a separate machine but depending on your soundcard you can run it on your main music PC and get it to listen to your main output.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering
