I think full on is loved by so many people becoz this kind of bass and sound affects or bodies espacially our brains by its frequencies.

I think it’s because it sounds KILLAAAHAH when you’ve popped some pills!
But seriously, I’m not really into that theory you’re putting up. Same goes for the story about “Trance is just the same as when the cavemen 10000 years ago made killer beats using 2 stones!!!”
Perhaps not the most popular view in here though… DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

It´s is more effect when u play all frequencies together and that become a melody, that can elevate the body vibration.
All people become freak when u got a spiritual melody like mantras, that turn up our vibration.
Sorry about my english. :/

Why not? that's an interesting topic btw, dont know if it has been discussed to death here... but it sounds logical to me.
Trance... before music, it's the state of the mind. |

u got a point here
when people are listening to trance for the fisrt time they like it only if they hear melodic full-on........
later they may change their tastes as they delve deeper into the psychedelic world..........
in the beginning if u play dark tunes for them......iMO most of them wud hate trance and wud never listen to it agian
At the end there is a DOOR & waiting for you on the other side of that door is either HEAVEN or HELL |

Wrong. My #1 'converter' track of all times is Hallucinogen - LSD. Anyone that can appreciate quality music and isn't scared of electronic sounds that heard this track has enjoyed it a lot, even if they only listened to classical rock prior (and I say this out of personal experience). I'd think that you'd probably have the best chance to explain to people what you find in psytrance by listening to Shpongle with them. http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222 |

IMO this is bullshit with no scientific support. In another words: you just invented it.

Is the same kind of bullshit.
There isn't even something called "body vibration". All molecules are in constant vibration, but it depends only on temperature. Waves can resonate with these molecules, but it's another different issue.

I was trying to convert people by playing LSD but it doesn't work for me. it sounds: "boring, old" is the reaction I get.

i support profanes irony here, could it just be as simples as this: Some ppl like trance and other electronic music, and some like classic. it's all about taste of music.
The vibration thing that silici0 is mentioning is probably the just the beat of the music being enhanced by the use of mindaltering substances, the same goes for the feeling that EYB writes about.
Now im not judging anybody by this, it's up to each and every one to do what they feel is the best way to experience music.
Peace!
