Just wonder if there are some guides, telling about what specifcs freequences to an sound like BASS, KIck, BreackBeats, Hit Hats, Synhts should be equalized on. I know , for example that teh Bass sound must be equalized between 0 and 260 hertz,, Is that correct, where can I learn more about, to equalize sounds write??

Frequency tips:

kick and bass should peak at about 65 hz but be cut between 35Hz and 20Hz
leads and higher end sounds should be cut between 250 and 300 Hz...

best thing for you to do though is to open up your friendly local audio editor and do a freq. analysis on a pro. track...

The best guides are your ears though

there is a decent tutorial on the "computer music" magazine website. its not exactly what you are looking for, but its a good starting place.

i'd check it out. its good reading, at very least.
