Hi, anyone knows where I can get a table in the net saying the frequencies for each key? (like C1-XXHz) ??

That is not be entirely true... Some sounds may have a richer energy in the spectrum in the partials - not the base frequency... Indeed, if you have three partials at say 200, 300, 400 Hz, the ear will percieve the note as 100 Hz - even if that frequency is not present... - Because this is the base frequency with the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th partial standing out...

What you probably want to do, is to analyze the sound for harmonic content, and then EQ on that basis instead. Sort of a spectral expander if those exist...

Happy EQ'ing

If it's for equing than Why not use our ears to hear the best EQ for a certain sound???
After all it's all about what we hear and what sounds better, doesn't it!!!!?

"some stuff you should leave for the pros" - then I should just keep quite

- Actually, I'm writing my master thesis in computer science about something like this. I have been searching for some cool applications for a program I'm writing, and this actually seems like a splendid idea - thank for the insp.

If any of you run SuperCollider3 I will have a neat plugin for this in a couple of days - then you won't need to analyze frequency content yourself, just turn a knob up or down
