I was really amazed in France going to the number of recordstores and asking about some Talamasca or Total Eclipse records. The guys just didn't know what I'm talking about. They sent me to some music store called Hocus Pocus, but didn't successed to explain me where it is.

yeah
unfortunately, there is a big lack of trance record stores in Paris (and btw in france). Hocus Pocus sells vinyls of hardcore/hardtek. You could go to Techno Import (near hocus pocus, at Bastille) or at the Fnac near Champs Elysées.
I live in Paris, and i can tell you that i buy more than 90% of my cd's online !!

Unfortunately I'm not at France right now, but I will go there next visit. By the way I were in 2 different FNACs with no success, the one at La Defense and I think the second one was at Champs des Elysee

I've been in the FNAC at Champs Elysees. There were some Juno Reactor records. I think there were records of some other artists, but I didn't want to look through all the records.

Although there are many french artists, trance has not really affected the french. There are very few who listen to this music. Most of them listen to rock alternative, soft rock and stuff like that.
Do like Al-X, buy your c.ds online.
